Lib Dems in Buckingham are campaigning to keep free TV licences for many over 75s.The Conservative Government has scrapped free TV licences from 1st August, which will impact on 6,270 older residents in Buckingham. We call on the Government to reinstate the free TV licences for the over 75s. |
"During the pandemic, the TV has been a lifeline for many elderly residents who've taken the government's advice and stayed at home to protect themselves," said Cllr Peter Cooper. "Back our campaign to save the free TV licences by signing the petition below."
